The Girls
“I am honoured to help Brides find their dream dress. It is so amazing to be part of such a special moment.” Jamie
The BDP is the creative inspiration of Stacey Price and Jamie Johnston. Stacey & Jamie became friends when they crossed paths after starting their own businesses several years ago.
Stacey, a wedding planner and owner of Marry Me Productions and Jamie owner of Groovy Linen Rentals, soon learned they had much in common.
Working in the wedding industry has taught these mothers two how to quickly react to almost any situation but they could never have predicted what would happen next.
In March 2009, their friendship became stronger when Jamie learned she had breast cancer. Being diagnosed with this disease at the young age of 33 was a shock for everyone.
Always quick on her feet, Stacey immediately wanted to do something to help. Within weeks she created Something White for Something Right, an amazing gala in which women have a chance to wear their wedding dress one more time, with proceeds going to Breast Cancer.
Through the planning of this gala, Jamie was inspired by a friend who offered to donate her wedding dress to be sold and the money would be donated to Breast Cancer Research..
With that idea, The Breast Dress Project was born.
